The gracious host of the 2008 Jewellery Design Awards and editor of Vogue magazine Kirstie Clements said she was enamoured of Opal and excited by the future for Opals. Australia's National Gemstone was well represented in the competition with the Awards attracting over 120 entrants this year. |

The awards presentation evening was held at the Art Gallery of NSW on the 8th of September.
The Jewellers Association of Australia Ltd 20th Anniversary Commemorative publication will available at newsstands and by exclusive release to Hilton Hotels Australia wide. An e-book version will be hosted at www.jaa.com.au
